There are several ways to get to Logan Airport. It all depends on your preference. You have the option to drive, use a bus, limo, or public transport.
To get to 26 from the east or west, you can take the Massachusetts Turnpike I-90 East - also known as the "Mass Pike" to the exit. Take Route I-93 South from northern points to exit 24B, and then follow signs to Boston Logan International Airport.
You can also take Boston's public transport via the MBTA Blue Line Subway or Silver Line Bus from Downtown Boston. The MBTA Commuter Boat departs from Hull, just south of the city.
Logan Express is a great option for those who live or work outside the city. You can park at the bus terminals in Braintree Framingham Woburn, Woburn, and Peabody. Parking is $7 per day, and these buses can take you to any Logan Airport terminal. The travel time is approximately 30-45 minutes. You should allow for extra time to accommodate traffic jams during transit.
You might also consider other bus transport options if you live further north or south. Portsmouth, NH, has the C&J Bus service that many people love to use. You can also find limo and bus services here.
You can leave the airport by taking the Silver Line from Logan Airport to the city, South Station. It is a free transit option. South Station is the starting point for many options to get around the city.
You can use the Commuter Rail and Amtrak, Bus, and the MBTA Red Line. You can also take the Blue Line to connect to State Street Station on the Orange Line. It is the best way for you to get around Boston, including Back Bay, Fenway Park, and Boston University.
